Christmas Community Meal

We had our annual Christmas Community Meal on Thursday 5th December, where we invited guests from local care homes, as well as family and friends of the academy, to join us for a festive evening. The evening included a two course Christmas meal including all the trimmings, and a generous Christmas pudding with custard to finish. Our Post 16 students were present for the whole event, right from setting up the hall, to serving our guests and evening joining them on the dance floor later.

Christmas carols were performed by the academy choir as well as live entertainment by one of the academy’s staff members. This is one of the academy’s highlights of the year which we look forward to as it is a fantastic way to serve our local community and start the festive season off.
