MP visits Academy

MP visits Academy

Earlier this term we were delighted to welcome Saqib Bhatti, the Member of Parliament for Meriden and Solihull East and representatives from Teach First to our academy. Their visit was an inspiring opportunity for both staff and students to engage in meaningful conversations about education, opportunity and the future of our school community.

Whilst in the academy both Mr Bhatti and the Teach First representative were given the opportunity to tour the site, visit lessons and meet with students across different year groups while hearing directly about their experiences of studying at Grace Academy.

Mr Bhatti praised our academy’s ethos and the enthusiasm our students showed towards their education and future careers. He also  kindly offered for some of our students to accompany him to the Houses of Parliament in the future to gain a first-hand insight into the workings of democracy and role of Parliament in shaping our society. We will very much look forward to taking him up on this kind gesture.

We are proud to have hosted the visit and strengthen our relationships with both Parliament and Teach First and will continue to build on this in the future.
