Success at Solihull Cross Country

Earlier in September, a group of our students proudly represented the academy at the first Solihull Schools Cross Country race, hosted at Langley School. It was a fantastic afternoon of determination, teamwork and athletic talent.

Amelia (Year 8) delivered an exceptional performance, running a strong and confident race from the very start. She set a fast early pace and maintained superb form throughout, securing an impressive second place overall. Also in Year 8, Ollie ran a superb race in a highly competitive field, demonstrating resilience and strong pacing to finish in an excellent 7th place.

The Year 9/10 race brought further success – Lewis ran with great stamina and focus, pacing himself confidently and achieving an impressive 5th place overall. He was followed by Jonathon, who produced a determined performance and secured a respectable 15th place.

All four students have now been selected to represent Solihull at the upcoming West Midlands Inter Schools Cross Country Championships, a fantastic achievement and testament to their hard work and commitment. All students who took part in the first cross country race of the season and represented Grace Academy should feel extremely proud of their achievements, well done.
