Breakfast Club

Students of Grace Academy Solihull receiving free breakfast packs. 

Since October 2020 we have been able to provide all our students with the opportunity to receive free breakfast packs. These packs include 2 boxes of cereal, such as Shreddies or Porridge Oats, and 2 bags of bagels. Over this time period we have given out over 2,500 boxes each of cereal and bagels.

Every 2 weeks the Ethos Team sets up a stand at Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre where parents who have signed up to the project are able to collect packs for their children. Since the beginning of May we have also invited all our new Year 6 students to take part in the project and we have seen a fantastic up take from our new families.

One parent said “ this is amazing that you are able to give all these breakfast packs away to so many children. I am so amazed because my child does not attend Grace Academy yet, however things like this help me and my child to become even more excited to start in September.” (Year 6 parent)

We want to specifically say a big thank you to everyone at Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre as well as the National School Breakfast Programme who, with their generous support, have enabled us to deliver this wonderful project.
