Year 9 Trampolining Competition

On the 6th March the year 9 Trampolining team went  to Smiths wood to compete in the Solihull school games competition. Each competitor must carry out a series of set skills ranging from basic core jumps to backdrop half twists and then they must memorise and perform a set sequence consisting of 10 complex jumps/landings.

All 4 girls performed brilliantly and executed all the skills with great control and accuracy putting them in a good position against the other teams. As a result the top 3 positions were all very close with only a couple of points between them.  Overall the girls came 3^rd to receive the bronze medal and were a credit to GAS.
