National Poetry Day: And the Winners Are…
National Poetry Day celebrations have always been a great success at Grace Academy Solihull where students and staff alike are encouraged to enjoy, discover and share poetry. This year was no exception where students from key stage 3 entered the National Young Writers competition. The theme of the day was ‘This is Me’ which allowed students to express themselves through poetry. We had a staggering 140 entries and Grace Academy Solihull are proud to announce that over half of these students had their poems published in the ‘This Is Me: A Celebration of Self’ anthology!
