Safeguarding at Grace Academy maintains a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. We are committed to meeting our duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of our students, with comprehensive safeguarding procedures in place to help identify and take action in any suspected or actual cases of abuse.
We ensure that all staff working with young people under 18 receive appropriate safeguarding training and are aware of their responsibilities if a student discloses, or is suspected to be suffering from, any form of abuse.
A safe environment:
We take the wellbeing and safety of every single student very seriously. We strive to ensure a safe and welcoming environment at Grace Academy Post 16, and have safeguarding and anti-bullying policies in place to ensure that young people studying with us do so in a safe and secure environment. If you have any concerns about these issues our trained staff are here to help. For more information on general academy safeguarding processes please click here.
