Professionals share career journeys with students

It was a privilege  to have visitors from University of Gloucestershire, as well as past students, a professional lawyer, and our independent career adviser with us recently to deliver a series of career-focused assemblies and workshops for Year 10, 11, and 12 students. Students heard from guests about their various career journeys, with talks designed to inspire and motivate students to see the opportunities that could be available to them in the future.

Grace Academy’s Post-16 Manager, Mrs Baker, reflected, “I believe that every young person should have the skills, confidence and opportunity to enjoy a rewarding future. Therefore, assemblies this week have been career focused… helping to unlock our students potential and ensure they are on a level playing field to everyone else. The feedback from the students was fantastic, opening their minds up to the different opportunities available to them for the future.”
