Winners Announced – Grace’s Got Talent

The grand final of Grace’s Got Talent took place on Wednesday 19th July at Grace Academy Solihull where we saw 12 amazing acts perform with a mixture of skills including singing, dancing, gymnastics and instrumental performances. All students involved demonstrated not only incredible skill and talent but also confidence and professionalism and as a performing arts team we feel very proud of their achievements.

We are delighted to share the results with you as chosen by our judging panel made up of a teacher and sixth form students:

• 1st Place- Olivia Makepeace (year 8) who sang a beautiful operatic ballad from the musical Ride the Cyclone.
• 2nd Place- Keira Bramble (year 8) who performed an original choreographed hip hop dance routine. 
• 3rd Place- Aadon O’Mahoney (Year 9) who performed a fantastic rendition of Another Love on the grand piano.

The audience also got to have their say and vote for their favourite act for the Audience Choice Award, the lucky recipient was Olivia Makepeace (year 8).

We would also like to make a special mention to Mr Sudbury and Jacob Harding (year 9) for their excellent hosting skills.

The performing arts department are incredibly proud of everyone involved and pass on our thanks to everyone who supported the event.
