Year 10 Willmott Dixon skills workshop

Over the last two weeks, year 10 students have been involved in career workshops with staff from Willmott Dixon, which is one of the UK’s leading independent construction and property services companies. Students learnt about different forms of energy and circuits and then carried out a practical session, where they built various circuit boards such as the one below.

The workshops as a whole allow students to utilise skills such as communication, problem solving and teamwork, all of which are highly sought after in the current employability market. All our students engaged fully in the sessions and also gained valuable knowledge about the company, as well as employability/training opportunities available to them.
