National Science Week

National Science week went with a bang here at Grace Academy with students being given the opportunity to further develop their knowledge and love for science during our lunchtime activity sessions.

Students explored how science affects their daily lives by discovering the role of the heart, examining it’s structure and discussing how that helps it do it’s job of keeping us alive. Additionally students have looked at the role of chemistry in producing colour and discovering  how different materials behave in different ways to create the different colours we see in things such as fireworks!

The sessions were all packed with eager and engaged students and a great time was had by all discovering the different ways science is used in every day life.
