Team of students from Grace Academy to help restore Adventure Playground

In response to the arson attack on Meriden Adventure Playground, Grace Academy has offered a volunteer team of twenty students from years 7 to Post 16 to help with the repair and restoration of the site in the next few weeks.

Maxine Bromley, Family Support Worker at Grace Academy said:

“We really wanted to offer our help after the arson attack to invest in our local community.  We want to help restore the area that has been destroyed so it can be used by others, and many of our students and parents use Meriden Park.

“We’ve already started to invest time locally in improving our community by cleaning up the streets around the Academy as part of the ‘Clean for the Queen’ campaign, and cleaning out the community planters at Fordbridge Community Centre in March.”
