Department Intent
A broad and balanced curriculum which produces well rounded and informed members of society who can achieve outstanding academic success.

The PSHE curriculum will provide the knowledge and understanding to ensure a future that is healthy and safe. It will encourage participative and active citizens, prepared for life and work.
The curriculum will equip students
- With the understanding of how to keep themselves healthy.
- With the knowledge needed to develop positive and safe relationships, including sex.
- The skills needed to make choices based on well informed personal morality, understanding that the decisions they make will affect them and others.
- To be inspired to have curiosity and explore personal dreams and goals, including future education and career opportunities.
- With the opportunity to understand their own identity, how they interact with the world and respect for cultural differences seen between individuals.
