Career Leads and Aims

Academy Aims:

At Grace Academy Solihull, our careers provision is more than just a series of workshops; it is a vital part of our mission to develop well-educated, considerate and caring citizens. Rooted in our core values of Grace, Respect, Integrity, Potential and Excellence, our Careers Information, Education, Advice and Guidance (CIEAG) programme is designed to inspire every student to aspire for success.

Our support begins the moment a student joins us in Year 7 and continues through to Year 11 or 13. By the time they leave, we aim for every student to have a clear direction and a structured careers plan, whether they are progressing to post 16 at our academy, vocational college, apprenticeships or higher education.

Aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks, our stable careers provision ensures that students are equipped with the skills, confidence, and knowledge required for a successful transition into adulthood. We are committed to uncovering the unique potential in every student, helping them make excellent choices that will enable them to contribute positively to modern society.

Our Careers Lead is Brad Pettitt (
