The department will also through Computer Science develop the understanding and skills of the fundamentals and principals of Computing. They will analyse problems in computational terms through practical experience of solving such problems, including designing, writing and debugging programs. Grace Academy Solihull KS3 students will also use two or more programming languages, at least one of which is textual to solve a variety of computational problems while studying Computer Science.
This exciting new course will be delivered in one our many ICT suites enabling students keep up to date with today’s computing demands and needs.
The department run a number of courses throughout all year groups including KS3 Computer Science, KS4 ICT and Digital Applications.
The department have introduced Computer Science in Year 9 and Computer Science at KS4. The Computer Science GCSE at KS4 will be focusing on the theory of Computer Science and also focus on programming and algorithms.
