Staff sport festive knitwear to support Save the Children

Staff at Grace Academy have dusted off their festive knitwear and delighted students by sporting a host of Christmas favourites including Rudolf, Santa, Christmas Elves and even Polar Bears in a bid to support Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

Forty staff joined in the festive challenge to ‘make the world better with a sweater’ by supporting Save the Children, and together raised £87 for the charity, exceeding last year’s total.

Michelle Reeves, Assistant Head of Year 7, said:

“Save the Children raise money for children all over the world.  As an Academy we know how vital it is for all children, no matter from what privilege or background, to have access to education, health care and support. The staff really took on the challenge of festive jumpers and the students found the staff looking festive great fun.”
