Grace Academy Solihull Celebrates Exam Success

Grace Academy Solihull students Katie Clark and Amy Firkin led the way in celebrating their GCSE results. Katie achieved 6A* grades and 6A grades, and Amy achieved 5A* grades and 4A grades, as well as an early entry AS in Business.

In addition, 69% of students gained a grade C or above in GCSE English Language, equalling last year’s result, despite a national dip following changes made mid-year to speaking and listening assessments.

In GCSE Science, 90% of students achieved A* to C grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with 80% of students scoring a C grade or above in Core Science.

There were also strong performances in other subjects including Acting, Sport and Music, with 100% pass rates, and 70% of the students who took Engineering achieved A* to B grades.
